About the Project

Understanding the heart behind "Jesus for Nones" and our mission to engage the spiritually curious.

The Heart Behind This Project

This book was born from countless conversations with people who feel spiritually homeless. Whether they've left the church, never felt welcome there, or are questioning everything they once believed, there's a growing community of people who identify as religious "nones" but remain spiritually curious.

The author's passion is to create space for honest dialogue about faith, doubt, and the person of Jesus—without the pressure, judgment, or institutional baggage that often accompanies religious conversations. This isn't about convincing anyone of anything; it's about offering a thoughtful exploration of what Jesus might mean for people who have walked away from traditional faith or never connected with it in the first place.

After years of pastoral ministry and theological study, the author recognized that traditional evangelistic approaches often alienate the very people they're meant to reach. The "nones"—those who check "none of the above" when asked about religious affiliation— represent the fastest-growing religious demographic in America. Yet most Christian resources ignore them entirely or approach them with outdated assumptions.

This book takes a different approach. It acknowledges the legitimate reasons people have distanced themselves from organized religion while inviting them to consider Jesus on his own terms. It's a conversation starter, not a conversion tool—designed to meet people exactly where they are in their spiritual journey.

About the Author

The author brings a unique perspective to this conversation, having spent years in both traditional ministry and academic theological study. With experience in pastoral care, biblical scholarship, and interfaith dialogue, they understand both the beauty and the problems within organized Christianity.

Having walked alongside hundreds of people questioning their faith—from lifelong believers experiencing doubt to complete outsiders curious about spirituality—the author has learned that authentic spiritual conversation requires vulnerability, humility, and genuine respect for different perspectives.

This book represents years of listening, learning, and wrestling with how to communicate the profound love and wisdom of Jesus in ways that honor both the message and the messenger.
